Richard Lisi serves as the Director of Construction Operations for American Restoration and Construction LLC (ARC), bringing more than 40 years of hands-on construction, restoration, and project management experience to the company. With decades of field expertise and a deep commitment to customer service, Richard plays a key leadership role in overseeing reconstruction and restoration projects from start to finish.
Richard began his construction career over 40 years ago in the carpentry union, where he built a strong foundation in craftsmanship, project execution, and large-scale construction. During his ten years in the union, he contributed to multiple major state and municipal projects, including work associated with the Jamestown Bridge, the Westin Hotel, in addition to the Exeter/West Greenwich High School, gaining valuable experience on complex and high-profile construction efforts.
After a successful decade in the union, Richard decided to pursue entrepreneurship and founded R. Lisi & Sons, his own construction company. Among his most notable achievements was the development of Granite Center in Westerly, Rhode Island—a complex mixed-use project featuring 42 residential units above commercial storefronts. This landmark development showcased his ability to successfully manage large-scale construction projects while delivering lasting value to the community. Through years of quality workmanship and strong industry relationships, Richard became heavily involved in the restoration sector, partnering with restoration companies to rebuild commercial and residential properties impacted by water, fire, smoke, and mold damage. Over the course of his career, he has rebuilt hundreds of fire-damaged homes and successfully closed out thousands of insurance claims, helping families and business owners recover after devastating property losses.
In 2018, Richard joined N.E. Disaster Restoration Inc. as Lead Construction Manager, where he oversaw the reconstruction of more than 200 insurance claims annually. During his tenure, he managed everything from residential losses to complex, multi-million-dollar restoration projects and commercial buildouts, earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship, efficiency, and dependable leadership.
Richard brings unmatched industry knowledge and practical experience to ARC and has been instrumental in helping build the company from the ground up. His decades of experience, combined with his dedication to customer relationships, make him a trusted resource for both homeowners and commercial clients navigating difficult restoration projects.
Known for his hands-on approach and commitment to client satisfaction, Richard takes pride in working closely with customers throughout the rebuilding process. His goal is simple: deliver high-quality results while helping clients feel supported and confident every step of the way.
